Amanda Levine, MD
A "native" Oklahoman since the age of two, I was raised in Edmond and northwest Oklahoma City. After attending college at Cornell University, where I received my undergraduate degree in developmental psychology, I returned to Oklahoma for medical school at the University of Oklahoma. I had every intention of becoming a pediatrician, but somehow when I did my first delivery, I realized that Ob/Gyn was my true calling. This is one field where I can get to know my patients over the spectrum of their lives, from routine annual care to childbirth to menopause and beyond. Most surgical specialties donít offer that, and that is one of the many things that drew me into obstetrics and gynecology.
I moved to New York City for my residency training at St. Lukeís-Roosevelt Hospital Center, which was a brand new world of medicine for me. Although I loved the big city, my family and my heart are here, and I could not think of a better place to practice medicine than back home in Oklahoma.
I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have met Dr. Michael Glass, who brought me on board at Stonebridge Ob/Gyn, and has been the best partner I could possibly imagine. Our entire office staff is truly like a family, and I think youíll feel that when you come for your visit.
I have admission privileges at Edmond Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, Lakeside Womenís Hospital, Integris Baptist Medical Center, and Oklahoma Surgicare to best accommodate your needs as a patient. I look forward to caring for you and your family in the future.
